Postal Information
| We wanted to design the Community National Bank merger guidebook using a non-traditional horizontal orientation. Before presenting it to the client, we ran the proposed design by Mailrite, which we always do.
By taking this extra step, we discovered that we could save our client over $4,300 on postage just by changing the dimensions ever so slightly to meet postal regulations. In addition to maintaining the integrity of the design, we ended up saving our client a ton of money on postage. I highly recommend Mailrite for any mailing project. When it comes to direct mail projects, they always deliver! Jim Hickey |
Whether you’re mailing a petit postcard, a massive flat, or something in between, you will be best served by ensuring that your mail piece conforms to the standards set forth by the USPS. By so doing, you will be in line to reap the following benefits:
- Discounts: The less the USPS has to handle your mail piece, the more you save.
- Deliverability: By leaving enough addressing and barcode space, you can ensure the best chance of deliverability.
- Speed of Service: Hand sorting is slower than automated machine sorting: the more automation, the faster your mail reaches your client.
